Influence and Persuasion

Holding influence over the meeting and persuading your colleagues of your point is one of the key objectives for those attending meetings. The art of persuasion requires flexibility and second-by-second awareness. We encourage delegates to come out of their heads and start to interact with those around them. We do this through observation and rapport building exercises, effective use of questions and dialogue, and developing flexibility with a range of styles.

Tip for Persuading

Assist the process of persuasion by first asking questions that allow the other to open up and then select relevant topics introduced by them as a basis for further questions, the logical answers of which reveal the validity and good sense of your own position.
